Last week, the US announced it was sending depleted uranium munitions to Ukraine’s military in its fight against Russia’s invasion. The weapons are expected to be used against Russian tanks, which are susceptible to these kinds of munitions. Ukraine’s been on the receiving end of a lot of weaponry since Russia invaded in 2022.
