With the upheaval in Afghanistan and with Kabul falling to the Taliban, many are pointing the finger at Afghanistan’s armed forces. Of course, the US government has invested billions of dollars in propping up Afghanistan’s security apparatus, and the US military has been at the center of building up Afghanistan’s armed forces.
