US charges suspect in Haitian president’s murder

Mario Antonio Palacios, a former Colombian soldier, appeared in federal court in Miami Tuesday. US officials charged him with conspiracy to commit murder or kidnapping outside the US. Ambassador Daniel Foote, the former US special envoy for Haiti, tells The World’s Carol Hills that the murder investigation appears to be inching forward with renewed US support.
