The British government’s flagship immigration plan to send asylum-seekers to Rwanda suffered a major setback today. The UK’s Supreme Court ruled that the policy was unlawful and in breach of both British and international laws. The plan has been central to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s pledge to cut down on the number of migrants crossing the channel to Britain on small boats from France. And as The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry tells host Marco Werman, Sunak is refusing to give up on the idea.
