The United Kingdom on Wednesday approved the world’s first coronavirus human challenge study, where volunteers will be exposed to the virus for research. In this case, adults between the ages of 18-30 will be exposed to the coronavirus in a controlled environment and researchers will track the volunteers to learn more about the virus. Host Marco Werman speaks with Dr. Andrew Catchpole, chief scientific officer at hVIVO, one of the organizations leading this study.
