Drought and the drilling of illegal wells have pushed Lake Tuz to near extinction. The lake is Turkey’s second-largest, located near Aksaray. Wildlife photographer Fahri Tunc has been documenting the impact on flamingos and is mounting his own campaign to save the lake for the beloved bird species.
