Turkey is calling for political reconciliation in Syria — or, at the very least, more stability. The Turkish government admitted that its foreign minister briefly met with his Syrian counterpart recently, and that caused an uproar across some segments of Syria’s opposition movement. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Dareen Khalifa, a Syria analyst with International Crisis Group, about Turkish interests, as well as, internal pressures and where they might lead Turkish foreign policy.
