A controversial plan by the Trump administration appears to have been put on pause. It would have deported Mexicans seeking asylum at the US southern border to Guatemala. Guatemala’s outgoing President Jimmy Morales said that his administration never agreed to this. Morales called the plan false and a “rumor.” Host Marco Werman speaks with The World’s immigration editor, Monica Campbell.
