Transgender women athletes banned from international aquatics and rugby competitions

Last year, the International Olympic Committee said no athlete has an inherent advantage just because of their physical appearance, gender identity, or if they are intersex. But they said each sport’s governing body should be able to decide on their own policies. Now, the international governing bodies for rugby and aquatics announced effective bans on transgender women this week. The World’s Bianca Hillier shares the details with host Carol Hills.
