TikTok ban expands to Canada and Europe

This morning, the European Parliament banned the Chinese short-video-sharing app TikTok from staff phones for security reasons. Yesterday, Canadian authorities banned the TikTok app from government-issued devices, following a White House announcement that US government agencies have 30 days to delete TikTok from federal devices and systems.
