Almost three years after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared, and masks became a primary tool to combat the disease’s spread, their usage varies dramatically from country to country. Not necessarily in relation to the risk. Michael Fox reports from Oaxaca, Mexico, where mask usage is relatively common, that culture and politics have determined how widespread the practice is at this point.
