Europe’s largest nuclear power plant was close to the scene of heavy fighting between Ukrainian and Russian forces Thursday night. Too close. Ukraine says a Russian attack near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant caused a fire to break out at the facility. That fire was put out by Friday, but to understand the risks of this and other nuclear power plants in a war zone, host Carol Hills spoke to Henry Sokolski, executive director of the Nonproliferation Policy Education Center.
