Scientists have been studying the residues of balms used in the mummification of an ancient Egyptian noblewoman, and they managed to recreate the scent used to preserve her body. The findings are published in the journal Scientific Reports. Host Carol Hills speaks with Christian Loeben who is one of the authors of the paper. He’s an Egyptologist based at the August Kestner Museum in Hanover, Germany.
