The Philippines is driving world population higher against many women’s wishes

Projections show that, as of today, the world’s population is more than 8 billion people. And for now, it’s not slowing down. Much of this growth is happening in Asian countries — with the Philippines having one of the highest birth rates. That’s not good news, according to the country’s women’s rights groups. They say the soaring population is a symptom of oppressive laws. The World’s Patrick Winn reports.
