Disinfectant sprays and wipes are useful for high-touch surfaces, but are they safe for the human body? Sanitation tunnels have been popping up in various cities across India, China and Kenya. For some people, they’re seen as the step in the right direction toward combating COVID-19, but others are wary. Host Marco Werman speaks with Shaheen Mehtar, who wrote a study about the dangerous risks of these tunnels on the human body. Mehtar currently advises the South African government on COVID-19, and shares perspective from the continent.
