The death of French film pioneer Jean-Luc Godard has film fans, film critics and film directors around the globe extolling his influence on the medium. Over six decades, starting with his 1960 debut “Breathless,” Godard made over 90 features, documentaries, shorts and videos and managed to polarize opinions about him and sometimes alienate viewers. Marco Werman speaks with Beth Accomando, host of KPBS Cinema Junkie podcast about how Godard upended the narrative structure of film.
