Though nine Thai farm workers remain captives of Hamas, most of those abducted by the militant group have returned home, with the latest group arriving days ago. The freed workers, 23 in total, are now filtering back to their towns and villages in Thailand’s rural upcountry. Some offer scattered accounts of their captivity. Many describe adequate food and treatment by Hamas; none have spoken of abuse, though most report feeling terrified throughout the ordeal. The World’s Patrick Winn reports.
