 A week ago, the specter of US tariffs hung over Mexican imports. Now, both the US and Mexican presidents are declaring victory from the political impasse over tariffs — President Donald Trump for outsourcing US border enforcement to Mexico and President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for staving off Trump’s threat.
