Taliban government keeps Afghan girls from classrooms

Today was supposed to be the first day of school in Afghanistan. But the Taliban government decided against allowing girls’ secondary school education, leaving millions of girls without an education. The World’s host Marco Werman spoke with Mahbouba Seraj, a women’s rights activist and founder of the Afghan Women’s Network, about the decision and the impact it’s having on the girls.
