Taliban claim capture of last holdout territory

The Taliban claim they have captured the last remaining anti-Taliban territory in Afghanistan. Panjshir Valley is the site of anti-Soviet and anti-Taliban resistance and is home to former Afghan government officials. The Taliban’s opponents in the region, however, claim that the fight continues. The World’s Carol Hills spoke with Haroun Rahimi, a law professor at the American University in Kabul, about the region’s significance and the consequences of the latest developments.
