In Sri Lanka today, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa resigned after a month of protests and mounting anger over a deep economic crisis in the country. Sri Lankans are dealing with food and fuel shortages, as well as electricity cuts, as the country struggles to pay back its foreign debt.
