Spain’s Catholic Church tests out reforms as membership drops

As parishioners continue to abandon the Spanish Catholic Church, bishops have begun testing out reforms. This includes surveying lay people to see what they would like to see change, and mounting a wide-ranging investigation into alleged sexual abuse by clergy. As Gerry Hadden reports from Spain, other changes, such as ordaining women as priests, may face some stiff resistance, but the church is bent on showing that it’s still relevant.
