Today Spain’s data regulation agency put a temporary ban on Worldcoin’s global scheme to scan people’s irises in exchange for roughly $80 of its new cryptocurrency and a unique digital ID. Privacy experts worry that people are sharing their biometric data for quick money while exposing themselves to major risks. Host Carolyn Beeler has the details.
