Eusebius McKaiser grew up as a mixed race person during the final years of apartheid in South Africa. Today, he’s an author and broadcaster who believes South Africans, especially white South Africans, still have a long way to go in understanding the legacy of apartheid and racism. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks to McKaiser about how South Africa’s transition from apartheid to the new South Africa might be instructive for how the United States might use this unprecedented moment of focus on race.
