Universities around the world are undergoing their own reckonings regarding racism and elitism of campus. A new documentary, Somalinimo, explores life at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. The film follows four students as they navigate the prestigious halls as Black Muslim women. Awa Farah’s story is one of four told in the documentary. She also serves as the film’s writer and the producer The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Farah, who is in Cambridge.
