Ski resorts work to combat climate change — but at what cost?

According to a 2017 study by the Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research, the Alps that stretch across Europe could lose up to 70% of their snow cover by the end of the century. Ski resorts around the world have been working to combat the rising temperatures for decades. But experts say some of the tools at their disposal aren’t longterm solutions.
