Earlier this month, top cybersecurity officials in the US and the UK issued a warning about COVID19-related scams and phishing attempts. It’s just one in a string of warnings by government officials and security researchers who say scammers, cybercriminals, and state-linked hackers are trying to take advantage of the pandemic for financial and espionage purposes.
