Golf fans have some new tournaments to watch — the LIV Golf Series. It’s attracted a few high-profile golfers with rich cash prizes. But on Friday, the commissioner of the Professional Golfers Association said that all players competing in the LIV are now suspended from the PGA Tour. The LIV golf series is sponsored by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund. And a lot of people say the Saudis are using golf to clean up their image, an example of “sportswashing.” Host Jason Margolis speaks with Kristian Ulrichsen, a professor at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, where he studies the Middle East and Gulf states.
