The surf is up in the seaside town of Nazaré, Portugal. That’s where daredevil surfers hurtle down the face of waves as tall as 5-story apartment buildings. Reporter Barbara Belt is taking it all in. She talks with The World’s Marco Werman about why “big wave” surfing is so alluring, and so dangerous.
