One of the countries worst hit by the coronavirus is Yemen. A new study by the Chicago-based nongovernmental organization MedGlobal reports that COVID-19 mortality rate in Yemen is five times the global average, with 27% of infections resulting in death and at least 97 Yemeni health care workers have died of COVID-19. One of them was neurologist Younis Anis, professor at the University of Aden. The World spoke with Mohamed Samir and Ayman Ali, two Yemeni medical doctors who knew him.
