Remembering Neil Simon

The World

Neil Simon died over the weekend. His name is synonymous with American theater. At the height of his popularity in the 1960s, there were four Neil Simon plays on Broadway at the same time. Host Marco Werman speaks with Mercedes Ruehl — who won a Tony Award in 1991 for playing Bella in Simon’s “Lost in Yonkers” — about her memories working with the playwright.
