The Nazis exterminated over 90 percent of the Jewish population of Lithuania, and attempted to destroy physical symbols of Jewish culture, like the Great Synagogue of Vilnius. Archaeologists are now attempting to rediscover the past. Host Marco Werman speaks with archaeologist Richard Freund, of the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
