Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that the two suspects accused of poisoning ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, aren’t criminals, they’re ordinary civilians. But the British government maintains that the two suspects are officers for the GRU, the Russian military intelligence. In the US, Maria Butina, a Russian guns rights activist, is also being accused of working as an agent for the Russian government. She currently sits behind bars. But prosecutors recently admitted they were wrong to accuse her of trading sex for work and information. Host Marco Werman talks to Sam Greene, the director of the Russia Institute at Kings College in London about her case.
