Putin takes steps to escalate war in Ukraine

The World

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced plans Wednesday morning to call up to 300,000 reservists to join the fight in Ukraine and threatened to deploy nuclear weapons if Russian territory is threatened. Host Marco Werman speaks with Dara Massicot of the Rand Corporation think tank about Putin’s escalation of the war and the response from Ukraine and the West.
