Emergency public safety measures imposed by the Lebanese government had brought an end to months of large scale demonstrations. Now, the Lebanese economy is in big trouble. A lot of people are struggling to make ends meet. And they feel they’ve got nothing to lose by challenging the government. Rebecca Collard reports from Beirut.
