Proposed settlement could provide mental health services for families separated at US-Mexico border

In October, the United States reached a settlement in a class action lawsuit that could affect thousands of children and parents separated at the US-Mexico border during the Trump administration. The proposed settlement, if approved by the court, would help reunite families, prevent future forced separations and provide a pathway to seeking asylum in the US. As Kayla Young reports, it would also enable many of those who were separated from their loved ones to receive mental health care.
