Back in May, police took the pigeon into custody in Mumbai because it had two rings tied to its legs, carrying words that appeared to be Chinese. The Taiwanese racing bird was eventually cleared, but kept at an animal hospital until this week when doctors at a Mumbai animal protection group set it free.
