Peruvian musician Renata Flores brings Quechua to Peruvian hip-hop

Peruvian musician Renata Flores first went viral with a YouTube hit when she was 13 with a cover of a British rock song. Since then, she has started to represent her Indigenous heritage in her songs, as one of the few rap artists spitting rhymes in Quechua. Reporters Gisele Regatao and Vera Haller caught up with her in Ayacucho, Peru, to learn more about how she’s using music to fight discrimination.
