‘Pele’ means the best

Ever heard somebody say something like, “That performance was a “Pele.” In English, maybe not so much. But it is a thing, especially in Brazilian Portuguese. In Brazil, “Pele” is now an official adjective to describe someone who is “exceptional, incomparable, or unique.” Simply, the best. Host Marco Werman explains.
