But even if the symptoms may be rare, they’ve become a lot more common as the overall number of people infected with COVID-19 continues to grow. “Long COVID” and “post-COVID” cases are starting to get more attention thanks to patients like Claire Hastie of Birmingham, England. She’s the founder of Long COVID Support, which started as a Facebook group and now has tens of thousands of members worldwide. She spoke with host Marco Werman.
