A bipartisan group in Congress wants to regulate the middlemen who have appeared in the “Pandora Papers,” such as accountants, lawyers and financial advisers. They propose that they should follow the same laws as bankers when it comes to due diligence, that they need to understand their client’s wealth and where it comes from.
