In the Palestinian city of Nablus, in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, there’s a new group of national heroes. They’re part of an upstart militant group called the Lions’ Den. Israelis see the group as terrorists, blaming it for a rise in shooting attacks. But in Nablus, many Palestinians hail these men as brave fighters standing up to the Israeli occupation.
