Pakistan’s ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan arrested

Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former prime minister and former cricket star, was arrested on Tuesday in dramatic fashion at a court in the country’s capital Islamabad. Footage of the arrest showed dozens of paramilitary troops in riot gear surrounding Khan and leading him into a black van by his arm. Khan has accused a senior Pakistani military official of attempting to assassinate him and his detention has raised fears of massive protests.
