One president’s war is another’s ‘special military operation’

Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a lengthy speech on Tuesday laying out his view of the war in Ukraine and the larger confrontation with what he calls, “the collective West.” He said Russia would step back from its last major nuclear arms agreement with the US. Meanwhile, President Joe Biden, who is in Poland, also gave an address. He focused on the importance of NATO and the US’ unwavering support for its allies. The World’s host Marco Werman speaks with The World’s Carolyn Beeler and Daniel Ofman in Kyiv, and Orla Barry in Warsaw.
