Oil rich UAE leading this year’s climate summit, facing criticism

In about five months, the United Arab Emirates, one of the biggest oil-producing nations in the world, is hosting COP28, the United Nations’ climate summit. Critics say this is like having tobacco companies oversee the work of the World Health Organization. They have called on the UN to remove Sultan Al Jaber, the oil executive in charge of this year’s summit. The World’s Shirin Jaafari reports.
