North Korea isolated by pandemic 

In the COVID-19 era, North Korea is growing even poorer and more isolated. Though the regime claims to have zero cases of the coronavirus, its economy is hurting. To keep out the virus, Pyongyang has totally sealed off its borders and now only a trickle of goods and food can come over. Its people are desperate. But don’t expect the regime to beg for help. As The World’s Patrick Winn reports, North Korea’s crisis is making its leaders more strident than usual.
