In the COVID-19 era, North Korea is growing even poorer and more isolated. Though the regime claims to have zero cases of the coronavirus, its economy is hurting. To keep out the virus, Pyongyang has totally sealed off its borders and now only a trickle of goods and food can come over. Its people are desperate. But don’t expect the regime to beg for help.
