Earlier this year, more than 200 political prisoners jailed in Nicaragua were taken from jail in the middle of the night and flown to Washington, DC. President Daniel Ortega had them rendered stateless and stripped them of their property. The exiles have been granted temporary protected status in the US. Reporter Rae Solomon, from KUNC in Summit County, Colorado, met with one of the men making the mountains his new home.
