In 2014, a group of Mexican college students vanished in Mexico’s state of Guerrero. By the end of the night, six people were killed and the missing came to be known as the “Ayotzinapa 43.” But this week, fresh findings from a group of experts shed new light on what happened. Anayansi Diaz-Cortes was one of the reporters who led Reveal’s investigative series “After Ayotzinapa.” She told host Marco Werman about the new findings by independent investigators on the case. This interview includes descriptions of violence.
