Myanmar military junta executes four political prisoners

Myanmar’s military junta, which seized power in a coup d’etat last year, confirmed on Monday that it had executed four pro-democracy prisoners, including a former lawmaker and a hip-hop-artist-turned-activist. The hanging of the four people marks the first executions in the country in decades. Host Marco Werman spoke to Matthew Pennington, senior managing editor of Radio Free Asia.
