Mobile and internet services cut in Pakistan as parliamentary elections get underway

Pakistan’s parliamentary elections are being held on Thursday. Despite violence and communication cuts, long lines were seen at polling stations across the country. The vote is seen as hugely significant following the sentencing of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in a corruption case that many saw as politically motivated. Host Marco Werman speaks with Pakistani writer and author Bina Shah about why this vote is so important.
